Reaching Your SSB Centre — Reporting Tips
Your call-up letter states the exact Selection Centre or board, the reporting date and time, and the nearest railway station. Reach the pick-up point (usually the designated station) well before the reporting time — candidates are transported together to the centre. Carry printed copies of your call-up letter, original certificates with photocopies, passport-size photographs and valid ID. Reporting late or with missing documents can lead to disqualification, so plan travel with a buffer day.
What Life Is Like Inside the SSB Centre
All boards follow the same standardised five-day process, so preparation does not change with the centre. You stay in the centre’s accommodation, are assigned a chest number, and move through screening, psychology, GTO, the personal interview and the conference.
