IMA Dehradun is the permanent-commission Army entry, and the one most CDS aspirants name first. It needs all three papers at 300 marks each, so Elementary Mathematics carries a third of your written score — and it is where most graduates from non-Maths backgrounds lose the paper.
Best OTA Coaching in India — Including for Women
OTA Chennai is the short-service entry and the only CDS entry open to women. It is also the only one with no Mathematics paper at all — English and General Knowledge, 200 marks each. The practical consequence is blunt: if OTA is your only target, every month spent on trigonometry and mensuration is a month wasted.
