Which government schemes were approved in June 2026?
June 2026 saw Cabinet approval of the Delhi-NCR Old Truck & Bus Replacement Scheme (PARIVARTAN) (₹9,585 crore over two years), the ATF Price Stabilization Fund (up to ₹10,000 crore as interest-free advances to OMCs), DISHA 2.0 (₹255 crore, 2026-31) and an additional ₹30,000 crore commitment to NIIF. The BHAVYA Portal launched on 8 June, PM-KISAN’s 23rd instalment was released on 20 June, and West Bengal became the 36th State/UT to join Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.
June 2026 is the implementation month. Two of its entries — the BHAVYA Portal and the Small Hydro Power guidelines — are not new schemes at all, but the operational follow-through of March approvals, and the gap between an approval date and an operationalisation date is one of the most reliably tested chronologies in the whole window. June also contains the single most useful geography fact of the period: West Bengal becoming the 36th State/UT to join Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.

BHAVYA Portal
PORTAL LAUNCHED · 8 Jun 2026
Ministry: DPIIT
This is the website where States upload industrial park proposals to apply for BHAVYA funding. It is not a new scheme, only the application system.
Why it is in the news: The implementation portal for the newly approved BHAVYA scheme was launched in June 2026.
- Digital implementation and monitoring platform for BHAVYA; States submit and compete with industrial-park proposals under a challenge framework.

- NISE assessed floating-solar potential of about 102.18 GWp across reservoirs and inland water bodies.

Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY — West Bengal Joins the Scheme
EXISTING FLAGSHIP HEALTH SCHEME — GEOGRAPHIC EXPANSION
