Choose NCLEX-RN If…

  • You want to work in the USA or Canada
  • You have strong clinical knowledge
  • You are prepared for 5–6 months of intensive study
  • You want the highest global salary
  • You hold a B.Sc Nursing from an INC-approved college
🇬🇧

Choose OET Nursing If…

  • Your target country is UK or Australia
  • You are comfortable with healthcare English
  • You want a language-focused exam (not clinical MCQs)
  • You need a faster path to registration
  • You already plan to take NMC CBT or AHPRA separately
🇦🇪

Choose DHA If…

  • Dubai or UAE is your target destination
  • You want a faster turnaround (2–3 months prep)
  • You prefer MCQ-only format
  • You already have Gulf work experience
  • You want to start earning abroad within 6 months

Can You Take More Than One Exam?

Yes — and many NCA Academy students do. A common strategy is to clear DHA first (3 months prep, faster placement) and then prepare for NCLEX while already working in Dubai. This lets you earn in AED while upgrading to a USA or Canada pathway.

We offer combo packages for nurses targeting multiple destinations. Ask about our DHA + NCLEX combo coaching plan.

NCLEX Next Generation (NGN) — What Changed in 2023

⚠️ Important for 2024–25 Exam Takers

NCLEX-RN switched to the Next Generation format (NGN) in April 2023. The exam now includes 6 new Clinical Judgment item types: Extended Multiple Response, Cloze (drop-down), Enhanced Hot Spot, Matrix Grid, Drag-and-Drop, and Trend. Standard MCQ coaching is no longer sufficient — ensure your coaching covers full NGN preparation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is NCLEX accepted in Australia?

Yes — Australia’s AHPRA now accepts NCLEX-RN as proof of nursing competency for Indian nurses, in addition to IELTS or OET for English proficiency. This makes NCLEX a dual-purpose exam for nurses targeting USA and Australia.

Do I need OET if I already passed NCLEX?

For UK NMC registration, OET (Grade B) or IELTS (7.0 overall, 6.5 minimum in each band) is still required separately from the NMC CBT. NCLEX alone does not fulfil UK English requirements.

How many attempts does DHA allow?

DHA allows a maximum of 3 attempts. If unsuccessful after 3 attempts, you must wait 1 year before reapplying. This makes thorough preparation critical — do not attempt DHA without coaching.
