CDS 2027 Age Limit, Date of Birth and Qualification
The CDS examination has four entries and each one has a different age window, a different qualification and, in the case of OTA, a different paper set. Choosing the wrong entry costs a full attempt, so read this before you apply.

The practical consequence is that an OTA-only candidate never sits the Elementary Mathematics paper — so months spent on trigonometry and mensuration are months wasted. Is there a Maths paper for OTA?
No. OTA candidates sit English and General Knowledge only, 200 marks each. IMA, INA and AFA candidates sit all three papers at 300 marks each.
