UPSC CAPF Cut Off 2025: Check Previous Years Cut Off Marks

NCA Academy projects the following category-by-category cut-off scores for the 2025 UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant test based on past patterns and professional analysis: Following the start of the exam, the commission will issue the CAPF AC 2024 Cut Off.  Paper 1 and Paper 2 are the two primary papers for the UPSC CAPF (AC) test. Paper 1 is a 250-mark objective test that assesses intelligence and general ability.  Candidates must pass Paper 1 with a minimum score in order to proceed; only then is Paper 2 examined. Candidates prepare essays and respond to questions on general studies and comprehension in Paper 2, which is descriptive and worth 200 points.Candidates are chosen for the Physical and Medical Tests based on the sum of their scores from the two papers, which total 450.  Following successful completion of those examinations, the final selection is determined by adding the 150 marks from the interview to the written exam, for a total of 600 marks.  Therefore, meeting the Paper 1 cut-off is crucial, and performing well on Paper 2 raises your ultimate ranking.

Reason Behind the 2025 Cut-Off Predictions

The cut-off estimates provided by NCA Academy are based on a thorough examination of several variables:

Historical Patterns of Cut-Off: Predictions can be made by comparing the cut-off marks from previous years.  For example, in 2018, the final cut-off was 282 out of 600, the General category cut-offs were 95.04 for Paper I, and 166 for Paper I + II.

Exam Difficulty Level: The intricacy of the test questions affects how well candidates perform, which in turn affects the cut-off scores.

Volume of Candidates: Higher competition may result from more applications, which could raise the cutoff points.

Vacancy Numbers: The cut-off is directly impacted by the total number of open positions; a higher cut-off may result from more vacancies, while a lower cut-off may result from fewer.

Performance Trends: Total performance of candidates, impacted by coaching quality and preparation levels.
