Notification of CDS 1 2025
The CDS announcement 2025, which includes exam-related information, was published in PDF format. Important dates, the application process, the exam format, the curriculum, eligibility, and other information are all included in the notification. Application Form for CDS 1 2025
According to the UPSC annual schedule, the CDS 1 application form 2025 was made available on December 11, 2024. Applications for the CDS 1 2025 must be submitted by December 31, 2024, at 6 PM. However, on May 28, 2025, the CDS 2 2025 application form will be made available. The application form will be available for candidates to complete until June 15, 2025. For male candidates who are general or OBC, the application cost is INR 200. There is no cost for female, SC, or ST candidates. - Log in to your registered account or register for the OTR
- Click on the CDS 1 exam link
- Fill out the details asked
- Upload the photograph, signature, and Photo Identity card
- Make the application fee for the CDS 1 exam
- Choose the CDS 1 exam centre
- Finally, submit the application form
- A confirmation message will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email id
CDS 1 Age Limit 2025
- For Indian Military Academy (IMA), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than January 2, 2001, and not later than January 1, 2006, are eligible to apply
- For the Indian Naval Academy (IMA), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than January 2, 2001, and not later than January 1, 2006, are eligible to apply
- Candidates applying for the Air Force Academy should be between 20 to 24 years, as on January 1, 2025. They must have been born not earlier than January 2, 2001, and not later than January 1, 2005
- For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than January 2, 2000 and not later than January 1, 2006, are eligible to apply
- For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course), candidates should be unmarried and born not earlier than January 2, 2000, and not later than January 1, 2006
CDS Age Restrictions for Women
The CDS OTA test now accepts applications from female applicants. For females, the CDS age restriction should be between 19 and 25.
Candidates who are OBC may also apply for the CDS 2 2025 test. The CDS exam does not, as far as we know, have caste-based reservations. Therefore, the OBC CDS Age Limit is 19 to 25 years old, the same as the other castes.
CDS 1 2025 Vacancy
Cds vacancy has been released along with the notification. UPSC announced the CDS 1 Vacancy 2025 on December 11, 2024, along with the CDS 1 notification. UPSC released the 457 CDS 1 approximate Vacancy 2024 separately for IMA (Indian Military Academy), INA (Indian Naval Academy), AFA (Air Force Academy) & OTA (Officers Training Academy). CDS 1 2025 Admit Card
The official website will host the online release of the CDS admit card 2025. To access their registered accounts, candidates must provide their date of birth and application number. The candidate’s name, roll number, birthdate, scanned photo, signature, and information about the CDS exam location are all included on the CDS admit card. In order to recruit Commissioned Officers for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, UPSC administers the CDS exam.
Exam Pattern for CDS 1 2025
Written exams and SSB interviews make up the CDS 2025 exam pattern. Additionally, the INA, AFA, and IMA CDS test patterns are comparable, but the CDS OTA exam format differs slightly from the other three. Three sections make up the written test for IMA, INA, and AFA: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. The exam lasts six hours in total, with two hours allotted to each section. The combined score for IMA, INA, and AFA is 300.
CDS 1 2025 OTA Exam Pattern
The written exam for OTA consists of two sections namely English and General Knowledge. The total duration of the exam for OTA is four hours that is each section is for two hours. The total marks of the test for OTA are 200.

CDS 1 2025 Syllabus
Three subjects make up the CDS syllabus for IMA, INA, and AFA, while OTA only has two. Class 10 is the standard for the CDS Mathematics syllabus, whilst graduation level is the standard for the other courses. Understanding the syllabus is crucial for exam preparation. Three disciplines make up the CDS curriculum: general knowledge, English language, and elementary mathematics. Note that only applicants who have applied for IMA, INA, and AFA are eligible to take Elementary Mathematics.

CDS 1 2025 Result
The CDS 1 2025 result will be posted on the UPSC’s official website. The UPSC CDS result PDF will be available to candidates at upsc.gov.in. Those who pass the written CDS exam will be invited to the SSB interview. The instructions for downloading the CDS 1 result PDF are provided below for candidates.

Selection Procedure for CDS 1 2025
The CDS selection procedure is prescribed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to choose qualified applicants for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. A written test and an SSB interview are the two steps in the CDS selection procedure. The SSB interview process consists of two steps. To be eligible for each level of the selection process, candidates must achieve the CDS cutoff marks. All India Ranks are given to candidates according to their merit. On the basis of merit and preference, the allocation is made.
