NDA 1 2025: Exam Dates, Notification, Pattern, and Application (Out)

The most well-known test in India for admission to the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Military is the NDA. Candidates may apply if they are between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5. Written exams and SSB interviews are used to choose the candidates. To make the final decision, shortlisted candidates must attend the SSB interview.

Application Form for NDA 1 2025

  • In the part below, candidates must review some fundamental information on the NDA 2025 Application Form:
  • The application form for the first session will be accessible starting on December 11, 2024.
  • Registration for the second session will open on May 28, 2025.
  • The application form can be completed online by candidates.

There are two steps to the registration process: Part I and Part II.

  • To prevent errors, candidates must carefully fill out the NDA 2025 registration form.
  • One needs information, such as biographical, educational, and communication details, as well as a photo ID.
  • Upload files in a legitimate format, being sure to include a photo and a signature.
  • The application forms must be submitted by December 31, 2024, for session I, and June 17, 2025, for session 2. For a restricted time, the authority would also provide the candidates correctional facilities. For NDA I, it will be completed between January 1st and January 7th, 2025.
  • The completed application form must be printed out and stored securely for future use as a reference for admission.

Application form fee 2025

  • Application price: For candidates in all categories, the NDA 2025 application price is Rs. 100.
  • The application cost can be paid online or offline by candidates.
  • Debit cards, credit cards, UPI, and Internet Baking from any other bank can be used to make payments online. On the other hand, fees can be paid offline using cash or an SBI Bank Challan.
  • Candidates who are female, SC, or ST are obliged to pay the application fee.
  • There is never a reimbursement for the application cost.

Applying for NDA 1 2025: A Guide

Step 1: Visit the NDA website (the link is above).
Step 2: Enter the requested information after clicking the "OTR (one time registration)" button.
Step 3: To complete the registration form, click the login option and input your registration ID and password.
Step 4: The application will be completed in two sections, Part I and Part II.
Step 5: Carefully fill out all the information to prevent errors, including the exam centre, communication,
qualifications, and personal information.
Step 6: Upload the necessary files, such as your signature and photo.
Step 7: To pay the necessary fee, proceed to the payments area and choose a payment option.
Step 8: Before submitting the registration form, carefully review the information you have filled out.

Before completing the registration form, candidates must review and meet the NDA Eligibility Criteria listed here:

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal. Indian nationals who have immigrated to India with the goal of settling there permanently from countries such as Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Sri Lanka, and East African nations like Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam are eligible.
Certificate: For Gorkha applicants who are subjects of Nepal, a certificate of eligibility would not be required.

Qualifications: Cadet entry scheme for the Air Force and Naval Wings: Candidates must have passed the 10th and 12th grade exams with PCM as a required subject in order to be eligible. One must pass the 12th grade or its equivalent from an accredited board in order to join the Army Wing or NDA.

Appearing: Candidates may also apply if they are enrolled in their 12th grade.

Additional Qualifications:

Gender: Both unmarried men and women may apply. Until candidates have finished their training, marriage will not be permitted.
Age: Candidates should be between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5.
Candidates for NDA I must have been born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.
The candidate must have been born between January 2, 2007, and January 1, 2010, in order to be eligible for NDA II.
Medical Fitness: Applicants must meet all of the authorities’ medical standards.
Candidates will not be permitted to apply if they have resigned or withdrew from training academies due to disciplinary reasons.

Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam: Exam will be held through Pen-paper based (online mode).

Types of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) wil be asked in the exam.

Language of Paper: Question paper will be available in English & Hindi languages.

Duration: Total 5 hours will be provided to solve the paper.

Sections: There will be two sections in the exam i.e. Mathematics & GAT.
Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of 33% in the assigned marks.

NDA 2025 Course Schedule

NDA Mathematics, English, general knowledge, chemistry, current events, and other subjects are included in the 2025 syllabus. The authority will make the syllabus available online.

Candidates may review some significant topics from a variety of subjects in the section below:
Mathematics (Paper I): Trigonometry, statistics, probability, differential equations, analytical geometry in two and three dimensions, etc.
English (Part A): This section assesses the candidate’s knowledge of grammar, use, vocabulary, and comprehension and coherence in lengthy texts.

Topics from the fields of physics, chemistry, general science, social studies, geography, and current events will be covered in general knowledge (Part B).
