What is JAG SSB interview Entry? – Key Highlights
Jag refers to judge advocate general branch of the Indian Army. The person who is selected for this post as a law officer or his duties or legal activities in armed forces.
The entry is for short service commission both for male and female to get into the regular army for 14 years that is an initial period of 10 years which is extendable by a further period of four years. Also the candidate after expiry of period of 10 years as the short service commission, me if eligible and a suitable in all respects, can be granted for the permanent commission in the 10th year of the short service commission (SSC).
This entry occurs twice a year that is in September and April the forms are filled up online on the official website of Indian Army. The candidates who are eligible will apply for the same on the above given website.

The Cut-Offs For The Jag SSB Interview Entry
The cut-offs for the Jag Entry generally vary between 55 to 57 percentage on the higher side. This is your overall graduation percentage in the law degree). If you’re scoring more than 57 percentage there is a very good possibility you will be called for your SSB Interview.

Who all are applicable for the Jag SSB Interview entry Eligibility criteria for JAG SSB
Age Limit
21 to 27 years as on 01 Jul 2023 (Born not earlier than 02 Jul 1996 and not later than 01 Jul 2002; both dates inclusive).. The date of birth as recorded in the matriculation/ all seniors secondary examination certificate or any other equivalent certificate on the date of submission of application will be considered acceptable and no subsequent request for its change Will be entertained.
Educational Qualification
A candidate must have passed with minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB degree. The candidate should also be eligible for registration as an advocate with the bar Council of India.Vacancies
