 A Comprehensive Guide to SSB Interview Preparation

 Step 1: Recognize the 5-Day Procedure

 Get acquainted with every step of the SSB:

 Day 1: Screening (OIR + PPDT)

Day 2:  Psychology tests on day two (TAT, WAT, SRT, SD)

 Day 3–4: Personal Interview + GTO Tasks

 Day 5: Gathering

Step 2: Begin by taking the screening exam.

OIR Examination:  Practice both verbal and nonverbal reasoning by answering questions on odd-one-out, coding, series, etc.

 PPDT: Look at an image and then, in four minutes, compose a narrative.

 In one minute, clearly narrate it.

 Discuss and reach a consensus as a group.

 Every day, practice:

 composing tales with happy conclusions.

narrating with assurance.

 thinking clearly and swiftly.

 Step 3: Studying for the Psychology Test

 Thematic Apperception Test, or TAT

 Create narratives using the provided images.

 Maintain a positive tone by demonstrating empathy, leadership, and prompt decision-making.

 60 words are displayed for 15 seconds each as part of the Word Association Test (WAT).

 Put your values into relevant language.

Situation Reaction Test, or SRT

 Respond in 30 minutes to 60 real-world scenarios.

 Remain composed, accountable, and focused on finding solutions.

 SD (Self-Description): Write down your thoughts about yourself as well as what your parents, friends, and teachers think of you.

 Step 4: Group Tasks and Leadership (GTO) Tasks

 PGT, HGT, and FGT: Collaborative problem-solving

 Order  Task: You oversee a task by yourself.

 Obstacle Course: 10 activities that try your bravery and endurance

 Lecturette: Discuss a topic for three minutes Practice: Using English fluently and resolving real-world problems

 Taking part in group conversations

 Physical fitness (rope climbing, running)

 Step 5: Personal Interview (PI)

 According to the PIQ form:  Be truthful and familiar with your own life story.

 Frequently asked: What motivates you to enlist in the military?

 Tell me about your advantages and disadvantages.

 Describe a recent news story.

 Step 6: Building Officer-Like Qualities (OLQs) is the sixth step.

 The foundation of SSB success consists of these 15 characteristics:

Practice more than 200 frequently used Word Association Test (WAT) words.

Personal Interview (PI) STEP 3

 Ex-Interviewing Officers (IOs) conduct mock interviews.

STEP 4: Day 3–4 GTO Tasks
